Every Mini Bernese Mountain Dog puppy begins life on our family farm in rural Missouri, surrounded by fresh air, open spaces, and the sights and sounds of everyday farm life.
Socialization is not something we leave to chance. It is an important part of our daily puppy-care routine. Our puppies receive gentle handling and positive interaction with adults, children of different ages, other dogs, household pets, and kittens.
These early experiences help puppies learn that new people, animals, sounds, and surroundings can be safe and enjoyable. Our goal is to help every puppy develop into a confident, friendly, and adaptable companion before leaving for its new home.
Beginning on Day 3 after birth, our puppies also participate in Early Neurological Stimulation, commonly known as ENS. These brief, gentle exercises are completed during an important early developmental period and are intended to support adaptability, resilience, and healthy development.
🩺 Health Is Our Highest Priority
The health and well-being of every puppy are incredibly important to us. Before going home, each Mini Bernese Mountain Dog puppy will receive a thorough veterinary examination.
Every puppy will go home with an official Health Certificate and will be current on age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormings. Puppies will also be permanently microchipped at our expense before joining their new families.
Each puppy’s organized document folder will include the veterinary Health Certificate, vaccination and deworming records, CKC registration application, parent pedigree information, recommended vaccination schedule, and permanent microchip details.
We encourage every family to establish a relationship with a trusted veterinarian shortly after bringing their puppy home. The American Veterinary Medical Association provides reliable pet-health information, while the American Animal Hospital Association offers helpful educational resources related to preventive care and microchip identification.
🎁 Bringing Home Your New Best Friend
Bringing home a puppy is exciting, but we understand that the transition can also feel a little overwhelming. That is why each Mini Bernese Mountain Dog puppy goes home with one of our thoughtfully prepared Puppy Paks.
The Puppy Pak is designed to provide useful supplies for your puppy’s first days at home while also offering familiar smells, foods, and comforting items.
Your Puppy Pak may include puppy food samples, supplement samples, shampoo and detangler samples, treats, toys, puppy waste bags, helpful paperwork, and a blanket carrying the familiar scent of your puppy’s littermates. A soft stuffed toy can provide additional comfort as your puppy adjusts to sleeping away from the litter.
Each family also receives an organized folder containing health and registration documents, along with information to help make the transition into the new home easier.
Long after your Puppy Pak has been unpacked, our support continues. Families are welcome to contact us with questions about nutrition, grooming, training, behavior, or general puppy care.
