Sweet Miniature Bernedoodle Puppies/Teddy Bear & Destiny

  Miniature Bernedoodle Puppies

Teddy Bear and Destiny have delivered some amazing little puppies!   She’s such a good mama, keeping an eye on those little ones night & day.  Though Destiny is a Miniature Bernedoodle herself, the litter Teddy Bear and her will have,  will actually be F1b Miniature Bernedoodle puppies.  The Miniature Bernedoodle is a designer breed that combines the intelligence and low-shedding coat of the Miniature Poodle with the gentle, loving nature of the Bernese Mountain Dog. This pint-sized pup is the perfect match for families, singles, or seniors looking for a loyal, trainable, and cuddly companion.

How Do You Get a Miniature Bernedoodle?

I get it.  When you’re not using this lingo every day, it can get a little crazy to understand.  Even I am NO expert in this arena.  I do have an understanding when it comes to the basics though.  miniature bernedoodle

Here we go!  We have Destiny, who’s a miniature Bernedoodle herself and breed her with Teddy Bear.  Teddy Bear is a Toy Poodle.  We now have offspring that’s 75% Poodle and 25% Bernese Mountain Dog.  We’re no longer going to receive a standard Bernedoodle, but a F1b Miniature Bernedoodle.  Yay!  In order to better understand all the terms they use to determine the generation of “doodle”, check out our simple explanation.

📏 The Perfect Size for Modern Living

One of the biggest appeals of the Miniature Bernedoodle is its manageable size. While they retain the big heart of the Bernese Mountain Dog, they’re much more suitable for apartment living or homes with limited space.

Benefits of Their Smaller Size:

  • Easier to travel with

  • More affordable to feed and groom

  • Less space required indoors

  • Easier to carry or lift if needed (e.g., vet visits)

Despite their smaller frame, they’re sturdy and active enough for outdoor adventures and long walks.

The size of the breed may make all the difference to you.  Of course, where you live determines how big of dog you want to have.  Living in an apartment may not be the best choice for a Standard Bernedoodle (the largest Bernedoodle) but great for a Miniature Bernedoodle or Tiny Bernedoodle.  The smaller Bernedoodle size comes in two flavors.

Miniature BernedoodleMicro or Mini?

So what’s the real difference between the two sizes?  The Micro Bernedoodle height is 12 to 17 inches tall, and weighs about 10 to 24 pounds. The Miniature Bernedoodle is a tad bit larger at 18 to 22 inches tall and weighs 25 to 49 pounds.  So again, it all comes down to individual preference.

If you want a cute, little fur ball to carry around in the grocery store a Standard Bernedoodle may not be the best choice.  All in all, they’re all fantastic pets and some of the most loyal and lovable dogs you can own.

Destiny & Teddy Bear

Destiny is our F1 Miniature Bernedoodle that loves to perch on the couch and watch what’s going on in the house.  She’s kind of like a supervisor, making sure nobody gets out of line.  She purposely entices Teddy Bear, our Toy Poodle, to engage in a wrestle for a specific toy.  Teasing him with it by tossing it, throwing it around and snatching it just as he gets to it.  He never seems to win but plays ceaselessly every day the same game.

Destiny and Teddy get the zoomies (running at full speed allMiniature Bernedoodle miniature bernedoodlearound the house and no one or thing can stop them!) and you better get out of the way.  Best friends, especially at naptime, while they cuddle up together and snore away the days events.

Socialization and Personality

Miniature Bernedoodles are highly social, people-loving dogs that thrive on attention and companionship. Early socialization is key to helping them grow into confident, well-rounded adults.

What to Expect:

  • Affectionate and gentle with kids and other pets

  • Highly intelligent and eager to please

  • Playful but calm — the best of both worlds

  • May show a shy streak early on, so socializing early is essential

Their personalities can vary depending on which parent breed they take after more, but overall, the Miniature Bernedoodle is known for being loyal, even-tempered, and intuitive — often called the “therapy dog in disguise.”

Our Miniature Bernedoodle Puppies Are the Best!

We want you to be completely happy with the Miniature Bernedoodle puppies we raise, and we think our puppies show we do a great job!  We’ve made sure we selected the perfect dogs in our program that have great personalities as well as healthy genetic makeup.

All our dogs are Embark DNA tested so that we can see if they carry any genes for certain diseases pertaining to that breed.  We would never want to breed a dog that carries specific genes that would hinder the quality of life for any puppies that it produces.  Healthy, happy puppies is our goal for all our families that decide to take home one of our puppies.

Why Choose an Ethical Miniature Bernedoodle Breeder?

With rising popularity, it’s more important than ever to purchase your Miniature Bernedoodle from a reputable and ethical breeder. Unfortunately, the demand has attracted irresponsible breeders and puppy mills that prioritize profit over the well-being of the dogs.

Here’s What to Look For in an Ethical Breeder:

  • Health-tested parents with clear genetic screening

  • Early socialization and enrichment for puppies

  • Willingness to answer questions and provide references

  • A solid health guarantee and return policy

A good breeder ensures your Miniature Bernedoodle is well-adjusted, physically healthy, and emotionally stable — which sets you up for a lifetime of happiness with your new companion.
